At the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) information session, teacher candidates at Brock University were informed of the application process to become registered, as well as the services provided to registered teachers through the College. This information is very useful for future teachers as it is required to be a registered member of OCT before you can teach in Ontario publicly funded schools. Although this information may not be applied directly in the classroom, the OCT enables us to become a teacher.
